You can absolutely use point.me to search for availability on specific legs of your itinerary that you would then book directly with the airline program.
As an example, imagine you wanted to use Air Canada’s Aeroplan program to book a one-way itinerary from New York to Istanbul with a stopover in Vienna for a few days. Use point.me to find flights that you can book with Aeroplan from New York to Vienna and then from Vienna to Istanbul on your desired dates. Once you’ve noted down the flights you’d like, you can contact Air Canada Aeroplan to complete the booking.
