Principal Product Manager - Distributed / Remote

The position

This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a solid background in analytics, and the ability to drive data initiatives across the organization. As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a product roadmap that drives results against one or more of our company’s strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with design, engineering, and other key stakeholders throughout the entire product development process.

Your work will directly impact the way rewards points are maximized and help people travel better.

This is a senior role, with commensurate responsibility and compensation. The anticipated salary range is $150,000 to $180,000 in addition to significant equity. Specific compensation will be determined based on your level of experience. We are a fully distributed team.

What You'll Do

Ultimately, you’ll be assisting an innovative travel start-up in reaching global scale by identifying opportunities to grow the business. This role requires thought leadership and business partnership with the broader senior leadership team to drive performance, strategy and execution; we expect you to be a careful steward of the business and treat it as your own.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and evolve a product roadmap that aligns strategically with the company’s overall objectives
  • Track and drive toward measurable outcomes through repeated build-test-learn product development processes
  • Partner with design, engineering, and stakeholders to identify the next product iteration and develop comprehensive solutions and specifications
  • Partner with design and engineering throughout the delivery process to ensure strong communication and adapt to new information
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, incorporating their perspectives and proactively communicating updates that impact them

What You Have

  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in product management, ideally with a consumer-facing product
  • Proven track record of developing and executing product roadmaps to achieve strategic company objectives
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven product development
  • Experience in a startup environment is a plus
  • Experience in the travel/loyalty space is a plus
  • GM Skillset: Fast learner, fast executer, strong collaborator
  • Performance-oriented, with an interest in taking ownership of situations and a desire to roll up your sleeves
  • Previous experience in tech companies serving both businesses and consumers is a significant advantage
  • Strong interest and knowledge of travel industry, airline industry and/or credit card loyalty programs
