Why do I see Business Class options when searching for First Class tickets?
We combine Business and First Class options in our search results because the definition of "First Class" varies by airline. For example, airlines like Delta and United label their premium seats on domestic flights as "First Class," but you can book these seats at Business Class rates with points.
Additionally, many airlines with a true First Class cabin only offer it on select routes. You might need to fly Business Class on a connecting flight to access a true First Class cabin. For instance, to travel from New Delhi (DEL) to New York City (JFK) on Etihad First Class, you would fly Business Class from New Delhi to Abu Dhabi (AUH) before connecting to First Class for the final leg.
