My points didn't transfer immediately - What should I do?

Don’t worry! Most points transfers from major US credit card programs are instant, unless stated otherwise in our booking instructions. If your transfer is delayed, it could be due to one of two reasons:

  1. Name Mismatch: If the names on your credit card and airline program accounts don’t match exactly, the points may be returned to your credit card program within minutes. Make sure both names are identical. If they’re not, consider creating a new account with the airline that matches your credit card name. You can still book flights using the name on your travel document.

  2. Fraud Prevention: If your transfer is held up as a fraud prevention measure, call the bank using the number on the back of your credit card to check on the status. If it’s still not processed after a few days, reach out again, as they may need additional documentation from you.

Please note that once a points transfer is initiated, it cannot be reversed, even if flight availability or pricing changes.
