Pointers from the point.me team
I see some great options through American Airlines AAdvantage and Alaska Mileage Plan. Can I transfer points to either program?
Points issued by American Express, Capital One, Chase, and Brex are not transferable to American Airlines AAdvantage or Alaska Mileage Plan. In many cases, flights that are bookable with AAdvantage miles are also bookable with other airline programs that allow for transfers from the major credit card points programs.
The point.me Self-Serve tool can help you discover these options! Simply select your preferred flight from the flight search page and confirm that you see airline programs that partner with a loyalty program you have points with.
The example below illustrates how a flight bookable with AAdvantage miles is also bookable by transferring American Express Membership Rewards or Chase Ultimate Reward points to British Airlines Executive Club.

Note that points issued by Bilt Rewards can transfer to American Airlines AAdvantage.
