Price Alerts: how to track flight price drops with point.me
Price Alerts help you monitor award flight prices without having to search over and over. Once you set an alert, point.me checks for award price changes and emails you when the price drops.
How Price Alerts work
Setting a flight price alert is simple:
1. Search for your flight
Run your normal flight search in the app and find the itinerary or route you want to monitor.
2. Turn on Track prices
At the top of your search results, click Track prices to create a price alert for that route.
3. Get notified when the price drops
point.me monitors your tracked route and sends you an email when there is a meaningful price drop below the price you first saw.
Price Alert limits by plan
Your plan determines how many routes you can track at one time:
- Standard monthly: up to 1 route
- Standard annual: up to 3 routes
- Premium: up to 5 routes
Manage your Price Alerts

View or cancel an alert: Go to Manage Your Account > Price Alerts to see your current tracked route or delete an existing alert.

Replace an alert: If you run a new search and click Track prices again, your existing alert will automatically be replaced.

- You want an email notification instead of checking prices yourself
How often are flight prices checked?
Our alert system uses adaptive, continuous monitoring - we largely track prices daily and intelligently change the frequency as needed, so you get notified when meaningful drops occur.
Why am I not receiving price alert emails?
First, check your spam or promotions folder. Then confirm that your email address is correct and that you have allowed emails from point.me.
Can I cancel a flight price alert?
Yes. Go to Manage Your Account > Price Alerts to view or delete your active alert.
Can I replace an existing price alert?
Yes. Starting a new search and clicking Track prices again will automatically replace your current alert.
How many routes can I track?
That depends on your membership plan. Standard monthly includes 1 tracked route, Standard annual includes 3, and Premium includes 5.
