# How to Read Your Award Flight Results
## Our flight results make it easy to compare cash, portal, and transfer options side by side so you can book the best value every time.
### This guide breaks down each part of a flight result so you can quickly understand your options and choose the smartest way to book.
**1. Good deal indicator **

Some flight options will have a "Good deal" or "Great deal" tag — these tell you at a glance whether a fare is worth booking. Hover over it to see the cents-per-point value, which shows how much value you're getting compared to booking with cash. Anything over 1.25 cents-per-point is "Good" and anything over 2.5 is "Great"

**2. Flight info **
Shows the operating airline and cabin class, departure and arrival times, total travel time, number of stops, and airports.
*Note: The operating airline isn't always the same as the loyalty program you book through. For example, you could use Flying Blue miles to book a flight operated by Delta. You can see which loyalty program applies in the Transfer Paths section below.*

**3. Cash Price**

The standard price of the flight if you were to pay entirely with cash. Use this as your baseline to compare the value of using points.

**4. Credit Card Portal**

The cost of booking through a credit card travel portal like Chase Travel or Amex Travel, typically using points or a mix of points and cash. Portal prices vary by card and provider, so we estimate a standard rate of one cent per point, or 10,000 points for every $100.

**5. Transfer Paths**

This shows which credit card points can be transferred to airline loyalty programs to book the flight, often unlocking better value than booking through a portal.
For example, you could book a flight by transferring Bilt or Chase points to United's MileagePlus program.

**6. Savings**

Shows how many points you save by transferring instead of booking through a portal. This excludes taxes and fees to give a clear comparison of points-only savings.

**7. Price + Transfer Bonuses**
****
The total cost per passenger when booking with points, including the number of points required and any out-of-pocket taxes or fees.
**Transfer bonuses:**
You'll sometimes see a transfer bonus highlighted on a result. This is a limited-time promotion where a credit card program gives you extra miles when you transfer points to a partner airline. For example, a 25% bonus means transferring 1,000 points gives you 1,250 miles, reducing the total points needed to book.
In the example below, the flight costs 117,000 British Airways Avios, but thanks to a 20% transfer bonus, you only need to transfer 98,000 Chase points to cover it.
