Processing Fora or GTN Advisor Referral Code Requests

To fulfill coupon code requests submitted by Fora or GTN travel advisors and track responses in a shared Google Sheet.

📋 Overview

Fora and GTN advisors use a Google Form to request their referral coupon codes. When submitted, a Form Notifications email is sent to support@point.me — but heads up, the advisor's name and email aren't included in that notification.

Because of that, we rely on the tracker to manage and complete requests.

🧠 Why this matters: This is a lightweight process (2–4 requests/week, ~2 mins each), but keeping the tracker up-to-date and follow-ups sent is essential to support our growing advisor program.

The tracker includes:

  • Timestamp

  • Advisor Email Address

  • Advisor Name

  • Column D: Coupon created and sent? → If this is blank, they still need a code!


✅ Steps to Fulfill a New Request

  1. Open the Tracker

    • Look for entries where the Coupon created and sent? column is blank.

  2. Create a Coupon Code in Stripe

    • Follow the format: firstnamelastnamefora or firstnamelastnamegtn

    • Example: greerbrownfora

    • Coupon = 10% off Standard Annual Plan forever

    • Link the advisor’s email when creating the customer-facing code

  3. Send the Code via Email

  4. Update the Tracker

    • In the Coupon created and sent? column, add your initials once complete


🔔 About the Inbox Alerts

  • Form submissions trigger an automated email from Form Notifications

  • These do not include the advisor's info — they’re just a heads-up

  • A HubSpot workflow automatically tags them as:
    [Auto-Tag]>Fora Advisor Form Alert
    Category: Miscellaneous > Company > Fora
