Brand Relationships - Distributed / Remote

The Position

The Brand Relationships role will be responsible for managing point.me relationships with affiliates and agencies – specifically our network of partner travel agencies and partner publishers/influencers – to promote our self-search and concierge offerings.

The ideal candidate is expected to support and deepen relationships with our current partners, while engaging and onboarding new partners to the point.me platform.

What You'll Do

Ultimately, you’ll be assisting an innovative travel start-up in reaching global scale by identifying and building relationships with key brands and individuals.

You’ll work closely with our CEO, along with our CMO and Product Team, to pinpoint advantageous partnerships, generate enthusiasm for the company, and enable successful promotion of point.me by our partners.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading brand partnership and relationship efforts
  • Utilizing industry knowledge and experience, assisting in identifying and building relationships with potential partners that bring value to our current and future product offerings
  • Collaborating with the management team to co-build a business development strategy, including a prioritized list of target partner and commercial customers and an action plan to win them
  • Developing and maintaining strong partner relationships, including managing partnership details and advocating internally for key partner needs
  • Raising point.me’s profile and establish strong relationships with targeted partners
  • Onboarding new brands (and their teams) to the platform, along with providing them with the training, tools, and contact point to make the relationship successful
  • Analyzing data and conversion metrics to both report commissions back to partners, and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Serving as a liaison between our partners, product, and concierge teams to ensure we deliver on the needs of our commercial partners
  • Supporting point.me's overall brand and business strategies and focus areas - customer growth, user engagement, and retention

Who You Are

  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable identifying opportunities and running with them, rather than relying on executive direction
  • Empathetic with a high EQ, and an ability to navigate difficult conversations with a variety of intense personalities and often conflicting priorities
  • Patient, with a love of teaching and empowering people to learn outside their personal comfort zones
  • Tech savvy, with proficiency in modern professional tools (Slack, Zoom, Hubspot, Google Workspace) and an innate curiosity towards finding solutions
  • Familiar with digital affiliate marketing, either as a publisher/creator or advertiser account manager
  • Experienced with analytics and data models; able to develop and articulate mutually beneficial terms and scenarios
  • Strong interest and knowledge of loyalty industry, specifically with travel, airlines, and credit card programs, and the financial considerations that drive them
  • A communicative person that values building strong relationships and even stronger teams
  • Detail-oriented and well organized, able to explain complex topics in a clear way
  • Flexibility - we’re growing and evolving and we’re looking for folks to grow and evolve with us
