How to Filter Flight Results to Your Programs
When you search for award flights on point.me, you'll see all available options across 150+ airlines regardless of which programs you actually hold points in. That's by design: the full picture helps you spot great redemptions and transfer opportunities. But if you want to zero in on flights you can book right now with the points you already have, there are two easy ways to filter your results down.
Option 1: Add Your Points Balances and Use "Search with My Points"
This is the most powerful option because it filters results based on what you actually have in your account.
- Log in to point.me.
- Click the My Points dropdown in the upper right corner of the page.
- Toggle between Credit Cards and Loyalty Programs depending on what you want to add.
- For credit cards: American Express, Chase, and Citi cardholders can sync their balances automatically. For all other card programs, select Add Program Balance Manually and enter your points total.
- For loyalty programs: Automatically update your airline loyalty program balances by syncing point.me using our Gmail option. This helps some users find and uncover points they didn't even know they had!
- Add Program Balance Manually For everything else, you can add program balances manually and edit them in the future as needed.
- Once your balances are saved, run your flight search. At the top of the results page, toggle on Search with my points. Your results will now show only the flights you have enough points to book.
Option 2: Use the Programs Filter on the Search Results Page
If you just want to quickly narrow results to one or more specific programs without setting up your full balances, use the Programs filter.
- Run your flight search as usual.
- On the results page, click the Programs filter button.
- In the dropdown, select the specific loyalty programs you want to see results for. You can choose multiple programs at once.
- Your results will update to show only flights bookable through your selected programs.
This option is great for quickly comparing a handful of programs or checking what a specific program has available on a route.
Which Option Should I Use?
Use Option 1 (adding your balances) if you want a complete, personalized view that accounts for your programs without you needing to re-select them each time.
Use Option 2 (the Programs filter) if you know exactly which programs you want to explore and want a fast way to filter without setting up your full account.
Still Seeing Unexpected Results?
If you toggle on "Search with my points" but still see programs you don't hold, double-check that all of your programs have been added under My Points and that your balances are current. Programs with a zero balance or no balance entered may not filter as expected.
