# Basic Plan Overview
## Learn about point.me’s free Basic Plan, what’s included, and how it differs from our paid plans.
The **Basic plan** at point.me is the perfect starting point for travelers new to using points and miles or for those who want to test out our platform before committing to a paid plan. This **free membership gives you access to our Explore tool**, allowing you to see where your points can take you—without the commitment of a subscription.
### **What’s Included in the Basic Plan?**
✅ **Explore Tool Access** – Browse destinations you can fly to using your points across multiple airlines.
✅ **No Cost** – The Basic plan is completely free, making it an easy way to get familiar with how points and miles work.
✅ **Flexible Browsing** – Get a general idea of where your points can take you, without needing to search for specific flights.
### **What’s *Not* Included in the Basic Plan?**
While the Basic plan gives you access to **Explore**, it does **not** include:
❌ **Live flight searches** – You won’t be able to see real-time flight availability or get booking instructions. (This feature is available in the **Standard and Premium** plans.)
❌ **Deal alerts** – Stay informed about the best redemption opportunities with our paid plans.
❌ **Concierge services & expert assistance** – Personalized guidance is available only with a **Premium subscription**.
